Neill has been making radio programmes since the 2000s (if you don’t count him making shows as a kid on cassette tapes). Starting off in community radio, he learned the basics and then cemented his progress with a course in Radio Production at Manchester’s School of Sound Recording. Then, after several years working in local radio, podcasts came along and Neill began making a weekly, light-hearted video-podcast aimed at the LGBTQ community which was also screened on several local TV channels. After this ended during lockdown, Neill decided that his next logical step was to make a new podcast about one of his favourite subjects - rock festivals!
Rich went to uni to read Journalism and Radio Production after gaining notoriety as the live football commentary summariser for Wrexham AFC before they were world famous, a club he has supported through hell or high water for nearly 40 years. As a presenter and producer of Festpod, Rich brings his vibrant personality, witty banter, and extensive knowledge to create an engaging and entertaining podcast with like-minded people.
Arran Prime is the 'sexy one' of the group, who is getting more concerned every day at Rich's obsession over him. When not podcasting with us, Arran is the frontman of North West-based band Crushed By Waves who appeared at Download Festival on the bill for The Takeover in 2023.
